INDUSTRIAL CLEANING SERVICES
Two technologies.
One consistent approach.
Assessed. Recommended. Validated.
MISERV provides industrial cleaning services across Malta and Italy, using dry ice blasting for surface cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning for precision parts. Each project is assessed individually, with the most effective method recommended and validated on-site before full deployment.
Blasting
How it works
Solid CO2 pellets are propelled by compressed air against the contaminated surface. On contact, pellets sublimate instantly, converting from solid to gas, lifting contamination without introducing moisture, solvents, or secondary media. Nothing is left behind. Equipment is production-ready immediately.
Delivered on-site for in-place cleaning across Malta and Italy. No disassembly required in most applications.
- Injection moulds and rubber tooling, online and offline
- Printing presses, anilox rollers, print cylinders
- Packaging and food production lines
- Turbines, substations, electrical switchgear
- Aircraft components and structural assemblies
SERVICE 02
Ultrasonic Cleaning Services
High-frequency sound waves transmitted through an aqueous solution generate microscopic cavitation bubbles. These implode against contaminated surfaces, removing oils, oxides, flux residues, and particulate from complex geometries and blind holes that conventional methods cannot reach.
- Cutting oils, grinding compounds, machining residues
- Flux residues and oxides from electronic assemblies
- Rust, scale, and heat treatment residues
- Carbon deposits from engine components
- Biological contamination from medical/food-grade parts
Mould Cleaning
How it works
Dry ice blasting removes mould release agents, carbon deposits, and polymer residue directly on the production line. No dismantling, no drying time, no secondary waste. The mould returns to service immediately after cleaning.
- Injection moulds and hot runner systems
- Extruder moulds and dies
- Compression, blow, and foam moulds
- Die casting tools and inserts
- Aerospace and precision composite moulds

WHY MISERV
The method that fits, not the method we prefer.
COMMON QUESTIONS
About industrial cleaning services
Can dry ice blasting be performed while equipment is running?
In many applications, yes. Dry ice blasting is non-conductive and introduces no moisture or secondary media. Mould cleaning, for example, is routinely performed with tooling at operating temperature and pressure. Suitability for live cleaning is assessed before each project based on equipment type, contamination, and access.
What is the difference between dry ice blasting and ultrasonic cleaning?
Dry ice blasting is an on-site process that cleans equipment in place, best for large surfaces, fixed installations, and situations where disassembly is not practical. Ultrasonic cleaning uses cavitation in an aqueous solution and is suited to precision parts, complex geometries, and small components requiring a high cleanliness standard.
How do you decide which method is appropriate?
MISERV assesses each project individually, contamination type, substrate, access constraints, schedule, and required cleanliness standard are all considered. Where both methods are applicable, the recommendation is made on technical merit. Trial cleaning is available where validation is required before full deployment.
Do you work outside Malta?
Yes. MISERV operates across Malta and Italy, with both on-site dry ice blasting and facility-based ultrasonic cleaning available to clients in both countries. Project scope and logistics are discussed during the initial assessment.
Not sure which service fits your application?
Describe your equipment, contamination, and production constraints. MISERV will assess the application and recommend the right approach, with a trial clean available before full deployment.
